High School Placement

We see the excitement of students as they continue the high school selection process. We all know that this can be a stressful process as well. I encourage you to call us with any questions or concerns. I am also happy to meet with any families, as I have been doing, to answer any questions or provide guidance. Please send an email with a few possible dates and times.

It is the responsibility of each family to obtain admissions documents or initiate filing electronic applications and complete required entrance exam/placement tests.

Catholic High Schools

As a rule, area Catholic high schools have earlier admission deadlines. All transcript requests and Principal/Guidance Recommendations are given directly to Mrs. DelleFave in the main office. Teacher recommendation forms should be given directly to the teacher to complete.

Independent Schools

Local independent schools (including Hun, Lawrenceville, PDS, Peddie, Pennington, Stuart) accept the SSAT Common Application. Students seeking admission to those schools must create an electronic application and register to take the SSAT online. Through that process, transcript requests and recommendations are sent directly to St. Paul School via email by SSAT.

Public Schools

If you are also considering your public school option, we encourage you to reach out to the high school guidance office for information and to schedule a visit. Typically, no action is required on your part until later in the winter or early spring.

Once again, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
