School Information

  1. In order to ensure the safety of the children, we ask you not to visit your child on the playground. If you need to see your child at this time, please come to the office and we will bring your child in. This helps the “Playground Parents” as they are instructed to stop anyone who does not have a St. Paul’s ID from walking onto the playground. We appreciate your cooperation in this area.
  2. Please make sure you have your child here, in the building by 7:55am. This is the time that our school day begins. Anyone who is dropped off after 7:55am should not enter through the cafeteria. The children must enter through the office door and obtain a late pass.
  3. If your child is absent, please send him/her in with an absent note, even if you have called Mrs. Chernelich.
  4. Requests for homework for any child who is absent must be made by 9:15am. This allows the teacher time to write and gather the assignments during a time that does not interfere with the other students’ class time. If you child is going to be out for an extended time not due to illness, please refer to our “Vacation Homework Policy.” If you need a copy please request one through your classroom teacher.
  5. Remember if your child has alternate dismissal plans, these must be made in writing .
  6. Now that the school year is off and running and we all have our routines down, we ask that you double check that your child has her/his snack, lunch and supplies. Tracking these forgotten items down sets the start of our morning back for all the students.
