CYO Basketball

St. Paul participates in CYO Basketball for boys and girls, grades 3-8. Players will learn the game and compete against other schools within the Diocese of Trenton. St. Paul has a "no cut" policy that allows inclusion for anyone who would like to participate.

Practices begin the first week of October, and will take place 1-2 days per week. Younger grades (3-5) hold practice at the St. Paul gymnasium, while the older grade (5-8) practice at external facilities within a reasonable distance to St. Paul.

Games begin the first week of November, and typically take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Games are held at the CYO facilities (Trenton and Yardville) or at other Parish gymnasiums. The regular season concludes the first week of February, with playoffs the following two weeks.

The CYO also hosts a High School league, and St. Paul is proud to have alumni participate. Members of the Parish can sign up and compete against members of other Parishes currently in High School. Participants cannot currently be a member of their High School's Varsity basketball team. This league will start in January and be a part of our Winter sports registration.

St. Paul has four teams that participate in the Varsity Division of the CYO:
