Our mission is to develop and sustain a ministry at St. Paul's to help provide a quality Catholic school education for the children of economically challenged families. We enlist individuals willing to commit their prayers and financial assistance to these families as a part of a long term giving program. Members of the Angel ministry are encouraged to grow as a community of believers through prayer. The Angel Ministry maintains a strong link to the mission and goals of St. Paul's School and Parish and their tuition assistance programs.
The Angel Ministry is designed to:
- provide quality education to students from a wide range of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- create opportunities for spiritual growth for Angels, through group activities in support of the overall mission of the program.
- support St. Paul's School through volunteer opportunities with Angel Ministry.
The Giving Process:
Although Angels make a significant sustaining commitment, they also welcome one-time contributions to support our tuition assistance program:
One-time contribution- general support
One-time contribution in memory of Kevin Moore
One-time contribution in memory of Judith Foley
Angels commit to making an annual personal donation of $1,000 for a four-year period (total of $4,000 over 4 years), together with a spiritual commitment to support students in prayer and service. Financial assistance to students is determined by the Pastor and the School Board Executive committee using a defined formula. Distributions to qualified recipients are kept anonymous for privacy purposes. The Angels Ministry has completed its 10th school year and has raised over $90,000 to support over 40 families.
